XOOT_Pro arm with Kit for Dell Canvas 27

This Kit bundle contains all parts required to attach: Dell Canvas 27

This Kit Modifies a XOOT_Pro Cintiq 27 QHD Kit to add a modified mounting plate to attach a Dell Canvas 27.  

For this kit to work, you must have both:

• • A Dell Canvas 27 Screen
  • A Dell Canvas 27 Vesa Mounting Plate (This kit will not work if you only have the screen)

Cables*

This Dell Canvas Kit is a bit of a one-off, and it requires some extra work.  All the cables included are for a Wacom Cintiq 27 QHD.

Here is what has to change:

• Power, The included Cintiq 27 QHD power cable will not work.  Instead, the Dell Power Supply cable must be fed through the arm.
• Video HDMI, is left in the arm but an HDMI to HDMI mini converter must be used (included with this kit).
• Video DP, The arm has standard DP to DP cable and will not work with the Dell Canvas.
  • However, the screen requires a DP-mini cable.  This cable can be ordered and installed separately.
• USB, The arm has standard USB 3.0 A to B cable and will not work with the Dell Canvas.  We can supply two options:
  • USB (Video Capable), USB C 3.1 20GB, 3 meters
  • USB (Pen Data Only), USB A to C, 3 meters

Kit Clearance and Reach

Leg Spacers: (Included): 20mm   (Minimum): 10mm

Max Distance of Screen from Grip Feet: 375mm

Screen Heights from Desktop (with included 20mm Leg Spacer)

• Keyboard Clearance,  Bottom of Screen to Desktop at 265mm from grip feet: 95mm
• Screen Up, Bottom of Screen to Desktop: 103mm

And finally, some Caveats with this kit.

• The top of the screen is higher of the desk than I normally like (57cm).

For good ergonomics, it’s best to have this under you eye level.  If you reach out with your hand to eye level, then measure the distance from your had to the desk how well this setup will fit you.

• This is a modified Wacom Cintiq 27 QHD Kit.

Both the Dell Canvas and Cintiq 27 QHD have a natural tilt to the screen, but Cintiq tilts more.  When rotated to profile mode, the screen’s surface will tilt slightly to one side.
