Just before we sent out the plans out to build the prototypes we found an issue. There was not enough space for the keyboard under the Cintiq Pro 24 when at desk level.
Wacom put the mounting points for the new Cintiq Pros near to the bottom of the screen. This makes it difficult to find space for both the mounting hardware and a keyboard under the screen.
This kicked off a new round of design. We had to make a mounting plate that was thin, rigid and Cintiq-Engine compatible.
We’re happy with the solution. It opens up a lot more space under the screen for the keyboard.
