Another DIY solution to solve problems encountered by XOOT_Pro users.  XOOT_Pro is normally clamped to the back of a desk.  However, if your desk it too deep or there’s no way of attaching the clamp at the back of the desk, you’ll need a different solution.  The original solution was to drill a 2″ (50mm) hole through the desk then mount the clamp though it.  However, a 2″ hole though your desk is a not that appealing.

This alternate solution only requires a small hole through your desk.  The clamp plate is simply bolted to the desktop.  It’s not a perfect solution but its more palatable to many people.

*The solution was originally developed for a customer that wanted the XOOT_Pro base to come all the way to the front edge of their desk, but they had a deep desk.

What’s Included:

• Pre-Made clamp plate
• 5” x ¼” screw, 1 ½” fender washer, and 2 ¼” spacer
• Double-sided tape to keep the clamp plate from spinning on the desk.

This pre-made clamp offers a practical and cost-effective alternative to the DIY approach, allowing you to set up your XOOT_Pro arm with minimal effort.
