Welcome to the July 2024 newsletter. It’s been a good month overall. However, I’m an inventor at heart and this leads to spending too much time inventing rather than marketing. I’m going to try and correct this, so expect to see more on the marketing side of things in the near future.
Ergonomics Videos
I’ve been procrastinating on making ergonomic videos. There are so many caveats to giving ergonomic guidance. You don’t want to mislead someone without knowing each individual’s workspace and physicality needs. However, giving no advice is worse, because that leads to general lack of information for everyone.
I finally broke down. The main video focuses on just the basics but it’s still 14 minutes long:

We’ve added a DIY page
XOOT_Pro was designed to be easy to repair and modify.
I don’t think there’s such a thing as a perfect product because everyone has changing individual needs. Most products are made with a “one size fits all” mentality. I think a good product is one that can change with an individual’s requirements and desires.
The DIY page is a place to show projects you can build to change function or look of your XOOT_Pro. Right now, we have two projects posted:
- Custom Side Panels
- A Webcam Holder
We want to encourage others to contribute their own projects. If you have an idea for project, let us know: info@xoot.pro. We’re willing to help with your XOOT_Pro project ideas.
Cintiq Pro 22 Bundle
A XOOT_Pro owner asked me if they could change their screen from a XenceLabs pen display to Cintiq 22. I thought they were talking about the Cintq 22HD, so I said yes, (with some extra parts). Later, during troubleshooting I learned they had the Cintiq Pro 22.
With a few email/picture exchanges we got things solved. It only takes a few extra parts for the MT11 kit to support a Cintiq Pro 22. A new bundle for the MT11 Kit will be coming out soon. Stay Tuned…
