Hello! I’ve been looking into your arm system products for some time due to an artist acquaintance recommending you guys to me, and this has been something I want to ask about.
I want to get an XP-Pen Artist 24, and when I was looking here I noticed and thought you guys have the arm stand for that tablet, but you only have the Pro more than the regular.
So, I’m curious and is wondering, will the arm stand work for an XP-Pen Artist 24 or does it solely work with the XP-Pen Artist 24 pro?
If I can’t use that one for it, is there any arm stand that will work for the Artist 24, if not then thank you for answering my questions!
Just looking up the XP-Pen Artist 24 now and comparing it to the XP-Pen Artist 24 pro.
Here are some of my first comments:
- I have the Artist 24 Pro and have tested it with XOOT_Pro, I’ve never tested the Artist 24.
- From the side view the Artist 24 has less curvature on the back of the screen. I would recommend ordering 12mm standoff screws to ensure that it does not scrape against the XOOT_Pro arm when rotating.
- The cable bay on the back of the screen looks similar to the Pro model but lacks extra USB ports. I’m guessing, the power cable will have the same specs. as the Pro model, (no extra adaptors will be needed).
- I could not find any specs. for the weight of the screen. The Pro model screen weighs 6.4kg (13.7lbs) and requires one set of weights to ensure the XOOT_Pro arm is in balance.
To ensure the XP-Pen Artist 24 is in balance with the XOOT pro arm, weigh the screen without the stand attached. Then go to the document: MT11 Screen Compatibility Guide.pdf and look at the section “(Step 3) What is the weight of the screen?” to determine the weight required to keep the XOOT_Pro arm in balance.
In short my best guess is to:
- order the Kit for the Artist 24 Pro
- order the 12mm standoff screws
- check your screen’s weight to see if you should order an additional weight kit.
If things don’t work out let me know, I’m happy to help out with people trying out new screens.
