"Do a better job marketing."
One thing I’ve leaned about marketing… is that I’m bad at it.
It’s like asking a plumber to be a chief, there’s not a lot of crossover skills involved. I just don’t have the expertise to make appetizing content. I need help, and I’m looking for help. If you have a good reference of someone experienced at marketing or sales to digital artists, let me know! Thanks.
Viral Content
It’s weird talking about viral content in the midst of Covid 19 lockdown…
One XOOT follower recommended reading about viral content. That’s basically online content that appeals to users enough to make them want to share it. From there, it spreads virally.
Having something go viral relies on great content, social networking buzz, and a ton of luck.
It all starts with great content, and I’m not great at content.
Where could XOOT get better content ? . . . . . . …

The XOOT system is aimed at making the lives of “Content Creators” better.
This means YOU!
Engaging Content Creators
The XOOT system is all about making you (Content Creators) more comfortable and efficient.
Chances are if you’ve read to this point in the blog you have a pretty good idea of what the XOOT system is all about and what it can do for you.
What’s something “shareable” that would make more artists want to lean about XOOT? A good inside joke for digital artists? A worthwhile tip? Or just some great content with a “sponsored by” link. Who knows…
We planning our next steps. More to come later.

Glad to see this still progressing. Really enjoyed using it.
Thanks John, I’m really glad you liked it.
Try reaching out to 3Dartists and 3dworld.
They might want to review it and help spread awareness, Reddit is a great place.
Also conventions, or maybe selling some prototype models so actual customers can also review it (only a few reviews are out there but they get lost in the loads of info out there on other stands)
Thanks for the recommendation. I reached out to “Future Publishing” makers of “3DWorld” a while ago. It’s probably time I do it again.
I’ve tried posting on r/Wacom before seems to rub a lot of people wrong if the post isn’t directly about a Wacom product. What Reddit community you would recommend?
I agree the XOOT system needs more reviews. We’re holding off on that right now until the new prototype is done.
However, I’m loaning out the current demo unit to artists in the Seattle area to give it a try. I’ll see if they’ll also post a review. Hint… if you’re in the Seattle area and want to try out a XOOT system, contact us.

I’d recommend letting more content creators have access to a XOOT if you want to market it. For example, Aaron Blaise is one Youtuber who uses big tablets and could potentially benefit from it. He’s a former Disney animator, so maybe if you’re able to get connected with him you’d be able to have your product showcased to a larger audience. Maybe providing a XOOT system to other artists with large followings could convince more people to be interested in your project.
You might also benefit from a catchy slogan, mascot, or image that can be shared and be easily associated with your brand. I had one come to mind, but I’m not sure if it’d work for your needs. If you’re interested in hearing it pitched out feel free to email me.
The demo XOOT system is currently being evaluated by a Seattle based ZBush artist. Hopefully he’ll post a review when he’s done.
For now, I’m keeping the demo XOOT system local to Seattle area. More reviews should be coming out soon. When the revised prototype is ready, it will be shipped out for reviews (USA/Canada) region.
Aaron Blaise is great choice. I’ll check if he’s interested.
You bet I’m interested in your ideas. My email is coming….
