It has been a while since my last post. The failure of the last crowdfunding attempt was a big reality check.
It’s been a time of planning.
- What has to change with the XOOT system.
- How do we connect with more artists.
- How do we get money to keep XOOT going.
We’re still planning and testing but some parts are getting clearer.
After crowdfunding failed we posted a survey on the XOOT website. It had both simple one click answers and sections that allowed people to share their thoughts in detail. A big thanks to all those that participated!
Quick Survey Results.

The charts above only shows simple answers. Most people who took the survey wrote long paragraphs with their thoughts and hopes for XOOT.
Here are the basic takeaways:
- Drop the price of a XOOT system but don’t drop any of the features.
- Do a better job of marketing the XOOT system.
- Find someone that can do a better job.
- Have more artist try out the XOOT system and show it.
- Try a crowdfunding launch on “Kickstarter”.
- Don’t give up.
Many people made impassioned pleas for the need of a XOOT system. For those people (especially those with physical aliments), we hear you! We’ve doing our best to make the XOOT system work well for all people.
